Read chapter 2 in Trask and chapter 10 in Hogg. There will be a quiz at the start of class on these chapters.
Also, your topic selection writing assignment will be due by 11:59pm. Reflect on your interests, or look through the syllabus, glance through future readings, talk to one another, ask me for suggestions, etc., and choose a topic you’d like to write your final research paper on. Write 200 words on what your topic is, why you’re interested in it, and what you’d like to research about it. Submit this via email or print it out and bring it to class.
